We offer turnkey test systems like HiL, EV Simulators, FCT designed & built to your testing needs. Our test systems support the whole product development cycle from early prototyping till End-of-Line testing in production.

Hardware-in-the Loop (HiL)

The PTS HiL System is our solution to provide sophisticated test capabilities for battery electronics such as a complete Battery Management System. It makes it possible to safely carry out all critical and safety relevant tests like short circuits, overheating, critical discharge, overcharge in extreme conditions. It also can be used for EV simulation tests to validate your application algorithms in simulated driving or other operation cycles. 

 

With its open interfaces it can be either controlled manually, automated or even be fully integrated in your continuous integration pipeline. Therefore, it can be used in multiple applications during the whole development process. This brings significant gains for quality and speed in Software Development, Validation or End-Of-Line testing.

FCT

We offer customized functional test systems (FCT) for End-of-Line (EOL) testing. The FCT is a comprehensive testing setup used to evaluate the functionality and performance of a product or system before it is shipped or deployed. EOL testing typically occurs at the final stage of the manufacturing process or assembly line. The FCT includes various components and processes designed to verify that the product meets the required specifications and performs as expected.

Test Fixtures

​These are physical or electronic setups that hold the product being tested and provide the necessary connections to interface with it. Test fixtures are designed to simulate the operational environment of the product and ensure proper electrical and mechanical connections for testing.

Test Instruments

These are measurement and testing devices used to capture and analyze the product's performance. Examples include multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, spectrum analyzers, data loggers, and specialized test equipment specific to the product being tested.

Emulation Instruments

Comprises all additional instrumentations necessary to test the product. Examples include cell emulators, shunt and temperature emulators or fault injection boxes.

Test Software: The PTS testing framework runs on an industrial PC and controls the testing process and interacts with the product under test and the test instruments. It provides test sequencing, data collection, and analysis capabilities.

Test Cases

These are step-by-step instructions that define how the product should be tested. Test cases outline the required test setups, measurement points, and expected test results. They are typically created based on product specifications and design requirements.

Test Data Management

This involves storing, organizing, and analyzing the test data collected during EOL testing and sharing it with the EMS via defined interfaces or combining it with a labeling system.
